Early morning trade - a small paper bag story

‘You’ll have to be quick, I’m meeting Ted in an hour’

Pete took her words as final acceptance of what he had been angling for for the last ten minutes. She always gave in. That was what he’d liked about Cat from the start and after ten years she was still the same.

‘I’ll look after the kids’ Pete volunteered and Cat kissed him, not saying it was more than a fair trade. A couple of minutes now would save her twenty minutes later. She could even manage a shower.

‘Come on Lover Boy, let’s be having you before I change my mind.
